Still Looking for the Right LinkedIn Strategy? You’re Not Alone.

In 2009, LinkedIn saw tremendous growth in both user-base and importance. There are numerous blog posts, statistics, and trends pointing to the idea that having a strong LinkedIn account is important for professionals and businesses in a competitive job market.

While all this may or may not be true, we still haven’t seen a true marketing strategy associated with LinkedIn. That’s not the purpose of the site and it leaves little room to do much more than make connections.  As the site continues to grow, we’ll explore more options, but our own use of the site has been relegated to picking up the occasional client who finds us there. Otherwise, it’s not a good marketing venue (unless you’re a marketing firm).
